Many caregivers need support when taking care of loved ones. Often times caregivers find themselves sandwiched between caring for parents and children. Our next Senior Moments meeting will provide all caregivers with vital information to help sustain both the caregiver and those they care for. Please share this important information with all caregivers you know, this information could help make a world of difference for them.
The Family Caregiver Alliance (FCA) was founded in 1977, and was the first community-based non-profit organization designed to provide support and services for families and friends who are providing long-term care at home. Services and support include, but are not limited to, short-term counseling, educational classes and workshops, retreats, and fact sheets. Family Caregiver Alliance has been recognized as a pioneer in the health services field and offers programs for caregivers at the national, state, and local levels.
